Fremont County commissioners voted to approve a state Homeland Security Program grant to fund targeted preparedness training, the board heard at its meeting. Heather Holbrook, assistant coordinator for Fremont County Emergency Management, said the grant would pay for basics such as CPR, AED, stop‑the‑bleed and scaled trauma response training and that “we think we can get this $18,000 to go quite a ways.”
