Committee approves multi-line budget amendment including $3M transfer to self-insurance fund

The committee moved and approved a multi-line budget amendment that repurposes grant carryovers and adds district funds to several priorities, including a $3,000,000 transfer to the restricted self-insurance fund. "There are 8 line item changes in this," the Director of Schools said while reviewing the amendment, which included CTE equipment, summer learning carryover funds, a Tennessee tutoring grant, Chromebook replacement funds, and technology for the TLC extended school program.
