Board votes to align valedictorian policy with handbook, set effective date
Board members agreed to resolve a discrepancy between board policy and the student handbook on whether valedictorian/salutatorian is based on seven or eight semesters. The board moved to change policy JI/JIA to match the handbook (seventh semester) and set the change to take effect with the next school year (effective July 1).
