Transit committee ratifies ACE camera modifications and new paratransit scheduling contract
The committee ratified contract modifications to ACE automated enforcement systems (Hayden and Seon) and approved a RideCo paratransit scheduling contract; staff said most costs are operating expenses and option years will return to the board for approval.

The Transit Committee ratified two procurement actions: contract modifications to expand and upgrade ACE (automated camera enforcement) systems and a contract to modernize paratransit scheduling. Procurement lead Jeffrey Wright explained the Hayden modification (estimated $218.6 million) would bring Hayden's total to about $301.7 million and the Seon modification (estimated $40.1 million) would bring that total to about $98.5 million. Wright said both awards include options to extend for up to six additional years.
