Kate Selvage of the Council of Governments provided the council with the required second public‑hearing status update on the CDBG wastewater treatment project. She said Preston received a $500,000 Idaho Department of Commerce grant, with $50,000 for grant administration and $450,000 for engineering contracted to Keller Engineering. Selvage reported $453,250 has been expended so far and described remaining punch‑list items including fencing, collection‑system improvements, and final startup of the filter/UV building.
