During review of the commissioners— budget, Chair asked whether the liability insurance line was sufficient after noticing prior-year spend. Auditor (speaker 8) confirmed the amended amount was higher than the initial budget figures staff had used. Staff acknowledged the discrepancy and said the liability insurance line should be increased by roughly $60,000 to align with year-to-date spending and anticipated bills.
