Board adopts updated code of conduct with AI guidance, e-bike rules and DASA coordinators

The board approved the 2026–27 code of conduct that adds guidance on artificial intelligence, clarifies consequences for chronic absenteeism (defined as greater than 10%), adds rules on e-bikes, and names DASA coordinators for each building.

The North Rose-Wolcott board unanimously approved an updated code of conduct for the 2026–27 school year that the district says balances safety, restorative practices and expectations for staff, visitors and students. The proposal came from a committee made up of board members, administrators, teachers and parents and was presented by Mr. Pullen.
