Warren County Fiscal Court on Aug. 27 approved a $60,000 purchase of a Skydio X10 drone from Axon Enterprises using a Department of Homeland Security grant. Esquire Ron Cummings moved the purchase; Esquire Eric Aldridge seconded. The minutes note that annual software maintenance of $3,750 is included in year one but would be payable by Emergency Management in subsequent years. The roll call was seven yeas, no nays.
