County approves LanguageLine contract to expand interpretation options

The Vernon County health board approved a contracting policy to use LanguageLine for interpretation services, including three-way phone calls and video interpretation for clients with language barriers. Staff said the county could also borrow a machine from human services and that a trained local Spanish interpreter will be contacted for community events.
