During the Sept. 8 meeting the council nominated up to four candidates for the Texas Municipal League intergovernmental risk pool board of trustees. Council put forward Rhonda Perez (city manager from Anna) for place 3 and also nominated Kevin Clark (place 1), Adam (place 2) and Austin Bliss (place 4); the council approved the nominations 7–0.
