Staff presented a proposal by Veil Hotels LLC for a four-story Holiday Inn with 88 rooms, a covered patio, pool and fitness center on a 1.65-acre site split between March ALUCP Zone C2 and Zone D. Staff said the C2 portion (0.48 acres) had calculated average and single-acre intensities consistent with C2 criteria, and because most of the site lies within Zone D (which has no restrictions) no additional noise mitigation was required. "This does conclude my presentation, and I am available if the commission has any questions," Jackie Vega said after presenting the zone-by-zone analysis.
