Planning Department staff presented the city’s FY2025 development impact fee report prepared by the Controller’s Office pursuant to the California Mitigation Fee Act. The report summarizes San Francisco’s approximately 38 impact fees, revenue and expenditures during the reporting period, projects funded by fees, and fund balances. Staff described fee categories (citywide, area plan, in‑lieu) and highlighted recent completed projects funded in whole or part by fees, including transit, pedestrian and parks projects.
