The Switzerland County Board of Commissioners voted Aug. 17 to award a road-related contract to Geo Stabilization after opening bids for an upcoming project. Bids listed in the meeting were Gonzalez LLC (estimated $150,000.00 for engineering), Geo Specialties ($206,793.66) and Geo Stabilization ($202,900.00); commissioners approved Geo Stabilization's proposal.
