Council and staff discussed transitioning septic permitting and inspections from Lincoln County to the town. Staff said the town would perform three inspections per septic system and must add a full ordinance section and a permit application to implement the change. Because draft language and supporting materials remain incomplete, the council agreed to table the item at tonight's meeting and aim for a July 1 implementation if the ordinance and application are finalized.
