The council gave consensus on Sept. 8 to have staff prepare an architectural compatibility checklist for three locally designated historic districts—Beach Bound, Zephyr Way and Saturn Lane—to make compatibility findings more objective and help applicants and the planning-and-zoning board apply consistent standards.
