County Engineer Joshua Malkin requested authorization to fill a Road Operator vacancy caused by an employee resignation and asked the Board to permit hiring a temporary Road Laborer for up to 180 days while the updated Road Operator position description is negotiated with the union. The Board approved the request on a motion by Brian Shinn; Chris Seubert seconded and the motion carried.
