At the May 6 HSAC meeting, Workforce Development Board liaison Anne Garrison reported that eight more adults were approved for WIOA training grants and have begun occupational training programs, bringing the program-year total to 110 funded participants since July 1. She said the most requested courses recently were commercial drivers license (CDL), certified nursing assistant (CNA), medical assistant, phlebotomy and CompTIA IT training.
