The Selectboard voted 4–1 to authorize installation of a two‑port Level 2 electric vehicle charging station on the Town Green and to accept and execute the ChargeVermont/Green Mountain Power EVSE grant and the Cummings Electric installation contract. Chair Ian Albinson said the project carries no capital cost to the Town: the estimated total cost of $22,962 would be fully covered by grant funds and a Green Mountain Power incentive, with the Town authorizing up to $500 in contingency for change orders and an annual cloud subscription roughly $350 per year to handle credit‑card payments.
