The Selectboard agreed by consensus to change the name of the Saunders parcel from Saunders River Access to Saunders Conservation Area and asked the Conservation Commission to prepare a full town management plan. Kristen Underwood said the parcel (acquired 2013 and expanded in 2020) is roughly 54 acres and functions primarily for flood resiliency and conservation rather than active boat access, and noted the Vermont River Conservancy already maintains an easement stewardship plan.
