The Bristol Conservation Commission presented a draft management plan for the town-owned Seth Hill parcel on Aug. 24, outlining the parcel’s history, ecological setting and management priorities. Kristen Underwood, speaking for the Commission, said the roughly 113‑acre parcel was acquired in 1905 as a village water source and remains enrolled in Vermont’s current use program; it is leased to Don Gale of Twin Maple Sugar Works for maple tapping to help offset taxes.
