Carbon County officials confirmed correspondence from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development indicating approval of an Election Integrity Grant contract (#C000099137) in the amount of $229,347.93. At the Aug. 20 meeting the board ratified the submission of an application for that grant for the 2026–2027 period (agenda #26-585) and ratified Executive Order 2021-6 worker protection and investment certification forms as required under Act 2022-88 (agenda #26-586).
