Commission approves grants, surplus payout and accounts payable with one abstention
At its Sept. 1 meeting the Cole County Commission approved FY27 DWI and HMV highway safety grants, a surplus funds payout for 6101 Highway 179 in Centertown, an emergency ambulance lease, and approved accounts payable (with Commissioner Hoelscher abstaining on that vote).

The commission approved several financial and intergovernmental items on Sept. 1. Motions approved included signing the FY27 DWI Highway Safety Grant contract and the FY27 HMV Highway Safety Grant award, approving payment of surplus funds for property at 6101 Highway 179 in Centertown, and signing an Emergency Ambulance Lease with the Callaway County Ambulance District. All motions were recorded as approved by unanimous vote.
