Staff and the Presenter told commissioners that reviewing a Certified Survey Map (CSM) currently averages about two staff hours per file and that mapping and acreage confirmation add further time. "If we set it at 10 acres, that's about 300 hours, 300 staff hours to review those," one committee member said, citing the office's internal calculations.
