The Mapleton Local School District Board unanimously approved donations totaling $8,506.72 during its Aug. 13 meeting. The donations listed in the minutes include $3,500 from multiple donors to support Mapleton Prom; $2,000 from The Blackbaud Giving Fund designated to Mapleton Robotics; $3,000 from Mehri & Skalet, PLLC to the Opioid Education Fund; and a small $6.72 athletics donation, for a combined total of $8,506.72.
