Vernon County to map zoning districts with grant-funded consultant MSA
Committee approved moving forward with a grant-funded countywide zoning map produced by private consultant MSA; staff said the firm can deliver an editable GIS layer in about three months and the county will retain quality-control authority.

The Vernon County Comprehensive Plan Committee agreed to commission a countywide zoning map using grant funding and a proposal from the private firm MSA. Staff member (Speaker 4) said the firm has worked for neighboring counties and "their time frame is basically about 3 months to put that all together, which is incredibly quick."
