Cherokee County Schools officials appeared before the Board of Commissioners at the May 12 work session to present the district's local budget requests. The presentation was led by Stephanie Hass, chief financial officer for the schools; Dr. Keevin Woody, superintendent; and Steve Coleman, a member of the Board of Education. The board received the request but took no formal vote on school funding during the meeting.
