The Joshua ISD Board of Trustees approved a purchase of more than $50,000 to refresh the public-address system at Staples Elementary, a district official said during the consent-agenda presentation. "In this agenda item, we do have a purchase over 50,000 and that is for our PA system refresh there at Staples Elementary and that's with the, school safety standards grant that will, pay for that PA system refresh," the administrator explained.
