Councilman Hogg told Barnwell County Council on Aug. 11 that the Barnes County Library is "thriving with the programs," reporting the meeting space was loaned 107 times in the quarter and that staff are replacing multiple failed air-conditioning units. He highlighted a strong summer reading program and increased teen and family use of library resources.
