Select Board votes to stop burning wood at transfer station after state warning
Jun 16, 2025
After a neighbor complaint and DEC guidance limiting burning to Londonderry‑sourced wood, the Select Board voted to stop burning at the town transfer station and directed staff to explore alternatives (Act 244 sites, commercial disposal, chipping, or limited permitted burns).
