Committee approves new 2027 health plan schedule and votes to terminate participation in state ETF
Richland County voted Sept. 8 to change its 2027 health insurance premium and reimbursement schedule and approved a resolution to terminate participation in the state Employee Trust Funds health plan effective Dec. 31, 2026; county staff and a benefits consultant said the change could save the county about $540,000 next year.
