The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a rezoning application for roughly 6.876 acres at the intersection of Hickory Flat Highway and Bow Trail to permit a four-lot residential subdivision. Planning Director Stallings described the application, noting the applicant reduced the acreage and lot count from an earlier plan and that the proposed lot sizes (about 74,000–75,000 sq. ft.) exceed the minimum for the zoning district.
