Sheriff’s office announces command promotions and summarizes case counts
Colonel Justin Baker announced new command staff promotions and gave a year-to-date caseload: 15 total cases this year (3 internally generated with two adjudicated, 12 citizen complaints with six exonerated and six active).

Colonel Justin Baker updated the PAB on personnel and caseload for the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office. “We have 15 total cases this year, 3 of which are internally generated, and they are non ACC cases… We have 12 cases via citizen complaint that are ACC cases. Six of those cases have been exonerated… and 6 of those cases remain active,” Baker said. He also introduced the new major of operations, Major Brandon Holland, and two promoted captains: Captain Dustin Boone (support services) and Captain Phil Lawrence (patrol operations).
