Roscommon County emergency-management leadership briefed the board on a grant opportunity to build tactical, grid-style critical-infrastructure maps for first responders. Vanessa Verer and Sheriff Ed Stern said the grant permits up to three awards of $25,000 each (up to $75,000 total) with no local match required, and that the application is due by noon on March 4.
