Roscommon commissioners adopt new board rules and shift meeting times starting Feb. 11
The board adopted a set of amended board rules including a change to the regular meeting start time (nine a.m.) and work sessions at 10 a.m., with the new schedule set to take effect Feb. 11, 2026; commissioners also added a rule asking county-funded committees to present biannually.

The Roscommon County Board moved to adopt revised board rules and related scheduling changes at its Jan. 28 meeting. The adopted package changes the regular meeting start time to 9:00 a.m. and establishes work sessions at 10:00 a.m., with the board endorsing an explicit effective date: "starting the new format beginning February 11th, 2026," per an amendment adopted during debate.
