Principal Miss Bruton presented the district's plan to apply for the state's teacher-designation program and walked trustees through eligibility, evaluation components and deadlines. "So with Chester choosing to do this, these are the 3 big things that we have to do is figure out who can earn a designation, how we will designate, how that's made up, and how and whom we will compensate," Principal Miss Bruton said, describing the requirements that instructional staff be at least 50% student-facing and hold the teacher role '87'.
