County engineer updates commissioners on paving, Kettle Creek delay and culvert work
County engineer Clay briefed commissioners on paving in the Pine Mountain area, upcoming work at Cutover Road and Show Creek Valley, and a delay that pushed the Kettle Creek project to a Dec. 5 letting; he also outlined an Evergreen culvert replacement funded in part by US Fish & Wildlife.

County engineer Clay told the Saint Clair County Commission work session that crews have been focusing on the Pine Mountain area and that recent paving work will move next to Cutover Road and Show Creek Valley. "Pavement crew has been paving on Pine Pine Mountain area of the county in, Monday," Clay reported, and said the crew will follow through on tar-and-gravel and other prep work until paving season ends.
