The finance officer told the commission that the county is closing out the previous fiscal year and working with auditors to submit materials to the Local Government Commission. The office must remove some revenue from last year’s numbers because associated projects are incomplete; however, recent expense reductions and collection efforts have improved the projected fund balance.
