Ringgold County engineer reports progress on chip seal, mowing and bridge work
Engineer Jared Johnson told the board crews have been mowing roadsides, hauling Farm-to-Market rock, spraying brush at bridge ends and conducting chip-seal work on J55; trucking issues delayed oil delivery and about 5,400 lane feet remain to complete the J55 chip seal.

County Engineer Jared Johnson updated the Board on secondary-roads operations, saying crews were mowing vegetation along paved roadsides and Farm-to-Market gravels in the southwestern portion of the county and hauling rock to south central and southwest maintainer districts.
