Reading school leaders outline AI guidelines, pilot Magic School for grades 7–8

The Reading School Committee heard a report from the Technology Impact Committee on the district’s approach to artificial intelligence in classrooms, including a pilot of the Magic School platform for grades 7 and 8. Doctor Hardy, who led the presentation, said the committee and an accompanying AI working group prioritized guidance and staff training over strict rulemaking.
