The task force approved recommendations to expand evidence‑based training for clinicians and community providers to respond to pathways to violent extremism, and to make coaching, counseling and broader programming accessible to individuals, families and bystanders.

The task force considered recommendations to expand specialized mental and behavioral‑health training to improve capacity to identify, assess, and intervene with people on pathways to targeted violence. Members said training should pair assessment with intervention skills and include trauma‑informed practice and family‑systems perspectives when appropriate.
