Two inoperable fire hydrants repaired; valve replacements scheduled in coming weeks

Utility operations staff told the committee they discovered two inoperable fire hydrants during routine flushing and arranged contractor repairs that were completed that week. "As we went through our flushing this year, we found 2 hydrants that were inoperable... so we had the contractor come back and take care of those," a staff presenter said while describing project follow-up.
