Board hears concerns about Joint Water Project change orders and meter payments

Councilor Todd Platten told the board during committee reports that a resident was missed during the engineering phase of the Joint Water Project and that a series of change orders "are occurring and depleting funds faster than we'd like." Supervisor Vernon Richardson said questions remain about who pays for new versus replacement meters and whether meters should be reimbursed or prepaid by users in the Village of Elbridge; he asked that the topic be placed on the next water meeting agenda for clarification.
