At the workshop public comment period, parent Jason Lerg told the board he is concerned about students’ use of artificial intelligence in the classroom and asked whether Jenison Public Schools has a policy or guidelines governing AI. He said his concern was prompted by his daughter’s experience and by questions about accuracy and ethics in AI tools.
