The Community Development Committee unanimously approved a conditional‑use permit for Rick's Hobby Farm, an approximately 40‑acre property used for remote‑control car, boat and model‑airplane events. Staff reported the property has operated for more than 20 years and typically holds one to two races per month in summer, with typical attendance of 60–80 and an annual national event that can draw up to 100–200 participants.
