A presenter led the board through the draft Chelsea DDA strategic plan, reading a proposed vision and mission and outlining five draft goals: governance/communication, business vitality (including a grant program), access/parking, preserving Chelseas historic character and arts, and growth/redevelopment including a South Village opportunity. Board members suggested wording changes to the vision and mission and discussed the order and prioritization of goals; staff said edits will be incorporated and a focused work session would be scheduled to finalize content.
