Dozens of public commenters pressed the Cedar Park City Council on Sept. 10 to reconsider the city’s contract with Flock Safety, the license‑plate reader (ALPR) vendor used by many Texas municipalities. Speakers requested an agenda item to suspend collection, publicize audit reports and access logs, and explore camera removal and data‑deletion options.
