Ashley Smith Olsen, a resident who requested approval to place a new house behind her parents' home, described the planned location and utility access and said a nearby power pole and water spigot would make hookups feasible. Chair (speaker 2) and commissioners repeatedly advised Olsen to consult town building staff and to provide a site plan and survey so staff could confirm setbacks and connections. "The town has historically not wanted septic tanks," said Committee member Mark Wilson, who also offered contact names for water and sewer operators and said the right-of-way would need Carbon County recording.
