Sophie Samuel, who introduced herself as president of the Wright County 4‑H federation board, spoke to the board about the organization’s work and asked the commissioners to declare the first week of October as National 4‑H Week in Wright County. Samuel told the board that Wright County 4‑H "has 21 clubs, over 700 members, and 180 plus adult volunteers," and described the program's activities and outreach.
