Committee approves relocation of Log-A-Load timber sale to better accommodate attendees

Staff reported that the contractor for the Log-A-Load event determined the originally approved site would not suitably accommodate the expected number of attendees. The committee voted to terminate the existing Log-A-Load contract and approve a new contract for an alternative site that is part of a stand already set up for sale this fall; staff said values and volumes would be nearly identical and terms would remain the same.
