The committee moved and approved Referral 26'0153, authorizing the county to accept additional funding from the New York State Office of Mental Health and the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports and to amend prior resolutions to increase 2026 contracts for mental-health, developmental-disability and substance-abuse services. The referral was moved by Legislator Vasquez Simmons, seconded by Legislator Cruz, and the committee voted to carry the item.
